Editorial policy
Bold Screen Stories aims to make screen storytelling clearer without pretending that every question has one final answer. We explain our reasoning, correct mistakes openly and keep editorial choices separate from commercial arrangements.
Accuracy and interpretation
We check factual statements against material available to us and take care to distinguish established information from interpretation. When we discuss a scene, our reading is an argument grounded in what appears or sounds on screen, not a claim to speak for every viewer or creator.
Independence and partnerships
Editorial coverage is selected for its relevance to readers. A paid placement or other partner material is labelled clearly as such, and commercial partners do not receive a promise of favourable editorial treatment. We make the nature of a collaboration apparent where it appears.
Corrections
If you spot a factual error or an unclear passage, use the Contact page and identify the article and the point at issue. We review correction requests and amend published material when warranted, making significant changes clear to readers.
Illustrations
Some illustrations may be generated with AI. When an illustration is AI-generated, we identify it as such where it appears; illustrations are not evidence for factual claims about a screen work.
